Favourite items

During the gameplay we find some crafting stations in different places (ie. dinning hall, gang). And we have some idea about what we would like to craft. Or we find place that is opened by some item. And we (i mean I) would like to remember to bring that item in next day, but the next day I had explored some more rooms, done quest and forgot about what it was exactly. If I would have a list of favorite items that would really make start day planning easier.

Thank you for the proposition! Just to be sure how you would imagine that feature. Would something like this work for you:

A collapsable sidebar with 4-5 inventory slots (like the one we have for Quest Items in the right-bottom corner) which represent your "notes" about the materials you need to collect to craft something (eg. 3xScrap, 2xGunk) or items that you need to take with you when you leave your cell (eg. Crowbar for opening a Kitchen Door in Dining Room)? Would that work for you or do you imagine this feature differently?

Well, in "don't starve" there is a "favourites tab" in crafting tab. But there is no crafting tab in Space prison.
In "Satisfactory" there is a way to pin recipes and they will show in "todo list" a little similar as tasks in space prison. Maybe it could be something like personal task?
In Witcher 3 player can pin crafting recipe and when he open shop (or container i think) he can see this pinned recipe.
I can't tell which one is better.

To be honest I could just write it on peace of paper while playing but it's too much hassle for me ^^
If I could just save recipe or/and item with one click and be able to see it in hud or some window that would be perfect.
